Presentation at the PME-NA 2023 conference

The Mathéréaliser team presented a poster named Using Manipulatives to Foster Mathematical Reasoning: Didactic Variables and Affordances at the PME-NA International Conference in Reno, Nevada. This poster showcased data from the MathRéaliser project, which aims to address how students use instructional materials to solve various tasks related to these practices. Specifically, we presented the analysis of students’ mathematical reasoning when solving a problem involving fractions in relation to different pedagogical choices.
