Knowing these characteristics can be helpful in choosing the manipulatives made available to students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This section presents various manipulatives grouped according to those used for working on numeracy and those used for working on fractions. It introduces some characteristics of the manipulatives, as well as an interactive version that can be projected onto an interactive whiteboard.
